Pro Shockers Make Impressive Opening...
Everything--climate, crowd and points on the scoreboard came up roses for the Spokane Shockers Saturday night as 17,500 fans watched them defeat the Michigan Arrows 35-7 in their Continental Football League debut. The Shocker triumph was machined in approximately equal parts from the passing of Jesse Kaye and Tom Sparlin to a host of exciting Shocker receivers from a pursuing leather-cracker defense and the Shockers ability to turn good breaks into touchdowns.
